The Chicken Chase is back! 🎉

We’re gathering at Standard Deviant Brewing in the Mission on October 28 starting at 7:30 PM, so mark your calendars, start hydrating, and stretch out those legs you lazy, useless fuck.

Look I know you’re terrified of commitment, but please just fill out this RSVP form. The folks at Standard Deviant are nice enough to lend us the space, so the least we could do is give them a relatively accurate headcount. And let’s be honest, you don’t have anything better going on anyway.

What the fuck is a Chicken Chase?

Everyone at a party puts money into a communal pot and whoever draws the short straw dawns the chicken costume, grabs the money, and picks a bar. The rest of the party splits into teams and attempts to find chicken while he or she is drinking with everyone’s money. If you find the chicken, you get to drink with them. If the chicken isn’t at the bar you choose, you must down a drink and head to the next bar. Last team to find the chicken buys everyone a round.

Remember:

  • All are welcome. Invite friends.
  • Bring $10-20 to add to the pot!
  • Costumes are welcome, just don’t dress as chicken.

Current agenda:

  • 7:30 – Meet at Standard Deviant
  • 7:34 – Dean has his first beer and blacks out
  • 9:30 – Chicken is chosen and departs
  • 9:35 – Form teams
  • 10:00 – Chase begins
  • 12:00 – Hints sent out
  • 12:30 – Stragglers finally find the chicken
  • 2:00 – Closed down the bar
